We took precautions by asking everyone to get tested before coming and besides our results not getting back to us until the morning of (they were negative thankfully!!) , everything went smoothly. I may have been stressing over the weather that week but it ended up being a beautiful afternoon so hanging out outside was no problem. Yes, it sucked not having the whole ordeal but we were surrounded by our family and closest friends and it really made the day feel like it was for us whereas sometimes large weddings seems like it’s more about the guests. We got catering from CAVA and talked and had drinks with everyone after the ceremony. Sequester is another last man standing reality competition that takes elements from Survivor and Big Brother and mixes them into a new cool concept. It was actually created by a previous Big Brother contestant named Audrey. Basically in Sequester you have a group of people sequestered in a house similar to Big Brother and each round there’s a twist on how people get eliminated. For example in the most recent episode the twist was called Majority Rules and the players had to pick a person in the house’s name as the answer to a question. Who ever guesses the name that the majority also guesses is safe while the people who answer differently are up for elimination. Everyone then votes out someone and the person voted out gets to expose three people’s votes then decide to go against someone in a battle match (a type of gender-neutral competition). The loser of the battle match goes to the jury house while the winner goes back into the house. At the end of the game when it’s down to two the jury votes for the winner. This is actually my first time watching a real season of Sequester. I got into it because some people from the podcast community I follow Rob Has a Podcast participated in a Sequester Mini early this year. Sequester Mini was a fully online version of Sequester that would take place over 5-6 hours. Yes, I sat for 6 hours to watch this LOL! This was a great way for Audrey to grow her community during the pandemic. But now the 4th season is going on over on Sequester Access on Youtube and so far I’m loving it. Bridgeton is a victorian tale about the families in London’s high society during the wedding market season. It mainly follows one of the more popular families – the Bridgeton family and their daughter Daphne who is looking for an eligible husband on the marriage market. It’s super bright, has a bunch of random themes, and to top it off the big ass Big Brother eye is in the middle of the main room staring at you. I would not be able to relax in that house. I also find it weird that the main door is upstairs so when houseguests get evicted it’s a much more awkward and long walk out of the house.
